Program Development Phases
Phase One
Our building is located in the heart of Leland at 63 Baldwin Drive. This facility contains more than 5,000 sq. ft of inside space and rests on over one acre of land. The potential plans we have are overwhelmed with endless possibilities! We need $750,000 to secure the purchase of the future home for HOPE Learning Center. Our goal is to raise at least $100,000 from donations alone. All donations are tax deductible and will go towards the completion of this phase for program development. The deadline to complete this phase is December 31, 2023
Phase Two
Because the building has been unoccupied for over seven years it needs extensive renovations both inside and outside. This phase of program development will consist of working closely with a licensed contractor until these renovations have been completed. The estimated cost for this phase is $60,000 and the estimated time is between 4-6 months from the completion of phase one.
Phase Three
During this phase the building will be fully furnished with kitchen appliances, table and chairs for the dining area, tables and chairs for each classroom, desks for each instructor, and desks for administrative staff. Adaptive learning equipment and televisions will be purchased for each class room. Computers will be purchased for each instructor, administrative staff, and our computer lab. Outside tables and chairs will be purchased so that instructors and students will have the option to enjoy being outside. We will purchase at least two handicapped accessible vans for transportation services. The estimated cost for this phase is $100, 000. The estimated time is four to six weeks from the end of phase two.
Phase Four
This is our final phase! We will be accepting applications for employees and students. The hiring process for staff and the intake process for students will begin and we will soon transition into full operation of the HOPE Learning Center program. We will host an Open House event for Parents, Students, Partners, Sponsors, Donors, and Community Advocates. After Open House we will have our Ribbon Cutting Ceremony and Grand Opening celebration! The estimated time for this phase is four to six weeks from the completion of phase three.
